DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Cara Flores Mays is a community activist and core member of the We Are Guåhan group, which focuses on the preservation of the land, culture, and language of Native Guam people from the militarization and colonial rule of the United States. Through We Are Guåhan, Cara Flores Mays has produced the film “We Are Pågat” that further engages with the militarization and ecological conservation for the Chamorro people.
