“The idea of Filipina Architect is actually in parallel with the advocacy of Mindanao Indigenous Architecture way back...I am advocating for two things. First is the knowledge of this Indigenous architecture to be known by all Filipinos so that there may be a pride of place in terms of pre-colonial architecture. Second, is to be able to use the elements and the principles of Filipino Indigenous Architecture to contemporary practice so that it can go beyond our nation but to the global scene as well.”
