An architect and conservationist, Shadia Yousef Touqan is the director of the Old City of Jerusalem Revitalisation Programme. She orients her work around issues of cultural preservation and historic district revitilization in the middle east. She won the Aga Khan award for her work in Jerusalem in 2004.
