DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Julia Morgan was a prolific American architect and engineer. She was the first woman admitted to L'Ecole nationale superieure des Beauxs-Arts, and the first woman licensed as an architect in California. Alongside these accomplishments, Morgan designed institutions for women and girls, including YWCAs and campus buildings for Mills College, a nationally renowned liberal arts women's college in Oakland, California. |
