Khaleda Ekram was an architect who had a four-decade long teaching career at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in the Department of Architecture. Her leadership at BUET ultimately led her to become the first woman to assume a Vice Chancellor position at the school, which spurred much controversy throughout the University.
