Knowledge Generators and Educators

This category celebrates women who have explored the boundaries of knowledge production.  They have contributed greatly to architectural discourse while simultaneously fighting for their right to education. These educators see architectural production as the transmission of knowledge, paving the way towards a more equitable educational environment for female students. We admire their fortitude, their industriousness, and their fearlessness in addressing social issues in the public sphere. Together, they have begun to tip the monolith of the male institution and its tyranny over architectural discourse.
